Tomb of Marie Laveau

Marie Laveau was the reigning Voodoo priestess of the 19th Century, sometimes called The Voodoo Queen.  Under her guidance Voodoo became a literal social
phenomena in New Orleans, gaining political influence and a good deal of wealth.

There is a legend that if you mark 3 X's on Marie's tomb you will receive a miracle, so the structure is covered in them. Did I make a mark? Oh, I'll never tell.
