Howard Hughes, Jr.

An Oscar winning producer and director, record breaking aviator, businessman and philanthropist, Hughes had countless successes,as well as a few notable failures. However, by the end of his life, his notoriety as an eccentric had greatly overshadowed all of his accomplishments.

Hughes is buried alongside his parents, Howard Hughes, Sr. and Allene Gano Hughes. The monument used to have a bronze airplane signifying his passion for aviation, but due to vandalism it has been removed.
A fence has been erected to hinder vandals...
and photographers.
