Crime and Punishment Museum
Ashburn, GA

Driving down highway 75 on a stormy morning we spotted a billboard for this unusual museum. We knew we had to stop and investigate.

This extraordinary museum gives an up close view of justice and punishment where carried out in Georgia.  Housed in a former jail, it contains remarkable artifacts; items you wouldn't normally see.  The volunteer guide we had was not only knowledgable, but full of wonderful stories.  Highly recommended if you are anywhere near the area.  Call first to make sure there is a volunteer available.
