Bellefontaine Cemetery
St. Louis, MO
A strange oasis in a poor neighborhood. Bellefontaine is well maintained like all of the historical park in the St. Louis area. Dating back to 1849, it contains quite a few pieces of brilliant statuary.
It is my regret that on the day we visited, it was over 90 degrees with 100 percent humidity so I didn t get to take as many photos as I would have liked.
